Christmas in July ...I mean December?

amoonchildeSince I have been sick all week and haven't felt like doing anything, I had big plans of getting so much done today...Christmas shopping, house cleaning, and putting my tree up, but it did not work out that way. Ugh! First and foremost...It's too HOT out for December! It was 75 here today! Not Christmasy at all! Then add Walmart, Saturday, and 2 weeks before Christmas and just shoot me now!
I had ordered Kaitlin's boyfriend's son, who is 2 1/2 yrs old, a motorized motorcycle from Walmart online to pick up in the store, but after I ordered it she decided she would rather I get him this little bicycle with training wheels that looks like a dirt bike. It was actually cheaper, so yay for me. Well, we decided to go there first and I just wanted to return my order so I asked at the pick up desk if that was possible and save them from having to go get it and me just giving it right back, and they tell me yes they can do a refund to my card and will get the money 5-7 business days. Then after I sign the refund slip I find out I could've picked the stupid thing up and returned it at the service desk and got my money today! I said why would you not have told me that first and she just looked at me and said nothing. I was sooo mad, which ended up ruining my whole day. I just couldn't deal with all the people and crowds and my husband was not helping, so we just went home!
I am going to try again tomorrow, and hopefully with a better outcome! I have so much to do and it's getting to be overwhelming pretty quick. On the plus side, I am finally starting to feel better! Yay!

Date: 2015-12-13 04:16 pm (UTC)But grr...that's so annoying that they didn't tell you your options so you could pick on the return! So frustrating! And awww...a little bike sounds like a great present!
I still have a lot of shopping left to do, too. *sigh* Might go to a pop up shop here in Houston today...with local shops...maybe I'll find something unique if it's not all too expensive.
