I had a great time lastnight! The pre-show phone conversation with the girls was fantastic, and I finally got to meet eurydice72. Yay! The episode ROCKED! So far, loving this one the best, but I'll post my thoughts under the cut, because I don't want to spoil anyone, I'm just nice like that. Hee!


I loved this episode, and it's my favorite so far! Spike was more like the Spike I remember, and when he was in the lab alone and the lights first started flickering, we got the sniff, the neck throw, and the slow swaggering walk down the hall. Not to mention fighty, got his rocks back, Spike in all his glory! Gahhhh! Can I please lick him now?

I also loved the banter between him and Angel on the couch. They act like brothers, and the "I liked your poems" was too funny! I did feel like something is off with Angel, and he even seemed a little creepy. I watched it again today, and I still felt the same. I'm wondering what this could lead up to. Hmmm?

I really like Fred, and I like the friendship, and even the flirting between her and Spike, but I'm hoping it stays that way, and doesn't become something more. I was glad she stood up to Angel about helping Spike, and I loved that she told Spike he was worth saving. Finally, someone's showing him some genuine concern.

Hey sweetie! Isn't it weird to consider chatting on the phone "meeting?" :) I'm glad for it, though, and you really have to send me your info so that I can call when I get back to the UK, too. :)

Me too! I am sticking to my original idea. The loss of Connor has pushed Angel right over the edge. He's the very ugly drunk that's fallen off the bandwagon and he's going to punish the world for screwing him over.

Good point Kumi! I didn't watch Angel regualrly, only caught a few episodes here and there, but I did read the recaps to familiarize myself with what happened. Your idea makes perfect sense, because Angel is carrying this all by himself due to the mindswipe of everyone else...well, except for Eve.

So very glad that you had a good time! I know we did. I really enjoyed the show, too. It really came together for me in this last one, and I hope to see more of the same in the following weeks. Hey sweets! *hugs* It was so much fun getting to chat with ya again last nite! Then the ep was so great! I loved, loved, loved it!!! Spike was in rare form, and I liked everything about the episode. I'm so glad that this season is shaping up so well. I'm glad too that we are getting to bond over AtS like we didn't get the chance to over BtVS....we will just have to make up for lost time!

Hey girl! *hugs you back* I had a blast lastnight, and then the episode was fantastic! I wish we would could have done this with BtVS too, but we are making up for it now. Hee! I'll be around most of the weekend, but I have to work ALL day tomorrow, and now it's me doing the whining. Waaaaaah! I would love to work a chat in sometime!
