Yesterday, it rained and rained and rained, and then rained some more. So, since the water had no where else to go, it decided to come into my laundry room. After work, the hubby and I had to spend most of the evening, cleaning up the room and the setting up fans to dry it out. Luckily it didn't rain anymore lastnight, and my laundry room is almost dry.

After that disaster, I did get to relax and talk to [livejournal.com profile] angstchic and [livejournal.com profile] eyesthatslay for our weekly pre-episode chat. I look forward to those as much as the new episode, and lastnight was no exception. I lurve them girls! Plus, I got to hear about their adventures in hamburger grilling, and the mentos induced hyenia laughter.

Then it was on to the episode, which I loved, and thought it was great to see a different side of Wes...

Wes looked so damn HOT shooting those guns in the beginning of the episode. Wheeew, it took a moment to concentrate after that. I thought Angel was being too hard on him...ego much! I felt bad for Wes, and still do. Then comes his father, who I couldn't stand the minute he talked about Spike back in the 60's when he was still killing. Yes, we know Spike killed lots of people for 100's of years before the chip, but do I really care about the past he can't change...ummm NO. Spike has gone beyond and above to prove himself, and I really wanted to lick him and his sarcastic mouth. *swoon* I thought it was hilarious when they were all in Angel's office giving reports as to what happened and Spike goes first calling him a head boy, then says that's all I have to report. It was cool to see him as somewhat part of the team. I also thought it was very interesting how Spike and Angel both brought up the killing of a parent, and Eve even talked about Conner with Angel...seems like this might be important, maybe...who knows?

Oh, and Spike saving Gunn...pretty impressive for a ghost, I must say...and so cute telling Gunn not to talk, he has to concentrate. LOL!

Eve gives me the wiggins...she's up to something, and Spike is on to her, there's definitely a story there waiting to be told. Oh, and did they leave her on the elevator?..*giggle*

I was glad Fred stood up for herself and gave Wes an earful about her getting hurt. She's a big girl and can make her own decisions. Not sure about Knox though... he just seems too nice. Guess that's the end of my rambling...I really loved this episode, and next week looks freakin' AWESOME with yummy William in flashbacks!!!
