I just got home from seeing RotK, and it was absolutely amazing! I laughed...I cried...I cringed, and I wanna see it again!! Kaitlin was a little upset over Gollum, but she understood why he had to die, so that worked out well. I can't wait until it comes out on DVD, and I'm hoping it's sooner than later. I just can't get over how wonderful it was...I loved it from beginning to end! :)

I am not ashamed to admit I cried like a baby...especially when Sam says..."I can't carry the ring but I can carry you" or whatever the exact phrase is. I bawled like a baby!

Kinda obvious why it won Best Picture. It had everything. Kept me in my seat for 3.5 hours, and I'd gladly do it again. Can't wait till the extended versions come out. Best present I could give myself. Glad you and Kaitlin enjoyed.

I cried during that part too! And...when Frodo woke up and all of the Fellowship came to see him, and when Aragorn sees Arwen for the first time after he's crowned King, and how happy her father looked. Then at the very end when they played "Into the West" during the credits...I was still tearing up. Hee! I just loved it sooo much!

It was perfect, and I can see why everyone has said it was the best one of them all. I didn't want it to end!

I agree! It deserved every one of those awards, but it's too bad none of the actors got nominated. I didn't even feel like I had been there for the 3.5 hours...I would do it again too! In a minute. :)

I really want to go see it again at the theatre, it is just such an amazing film! It deserves every award it received, because it was such an incredible visual and emotional experience.

I would love to see it again, but I don't think Mike and Kaitlin would sit through it at the theatre again. Hee! Especially with Mike's back, but I would in a heartbeat! Kaitlin just said, "why does my favorite character have to die?", but she said she thinks he turned back into a hobbit...so she's okay with it.

And look at your pretty icon...just have tempt me, don't you? Bwhaha!
