Weekend

I've had a really nice weekend and plan to continue enjoying it today. Yesterday the hubby and I went out for a couple of hours and played the poker machines and had a couple of drinks. While we were out we saw two of my old highschool friends that I haven't seen in years. It was great seeing them again and brought back a ton of memories. So far today has been nice too...slept til 10am which was a treat, and made gravy, biscuits, fried potatoes and sausage. Yum! It's supposed to rain all day and I have no plans today other than finishing up laundry and reading fanfic. I've been addicted to Eric/Sookie fic from Trueblood or the Southern Vampire Mysteries and makesmyheadspin is a fabulous writer who really captures the characters dead on. I would recommend any of her work for those interested. :D
