I've had a nice weekend, yesterday we went to Target on a mission to find blankets and pillows, since most of ours are ready for the trash. So, I ended up getting those, plus a flannel comforter cover and shams for my bed, and it's so warm and soft. I love it! The best part of my weekend was my Dad surprised us and came in for the weekend. I haven't seen him since May, and I've missed him terribly. This morning we all went out for breakfast, and ate way too much. Now, I'm ready for an afternoon nap, and then hopefully I can catch up on some fiction. I'm behind on eurydice72's Rook and Voices for the first time in weeks.

Sounds like you had a nice weekend! I'm so glad you got to spend time with your Dad, I bet Kaitlin loved that too! Oh, and shopping!! Shopping is fun when it's for something you WANT, not for like groceries and stuff! LOL

It's been awhile since I've had a truly nice weekend, and when shopping's involved, other than groceries, it's fantastic. I couldn't tell you the last time I splurged on bedding, and it was fun! Yes, Kaitlin was thrilled to see her papa, and she pretty much monopolized him the whole time...which he loved. :)

Yay you, on the whole shopping thing. The only bedding fun I get to have is stripping and washing the bedding this weekend. Bleck! Laundry. I could be all about disposable stuff. Clothes, bedlinens towels and that kind of thing....you know, like Kleenex.

Yes! Disposable linens. I think you're on to something, because I always seem to either bleach and change the colors of my towels, or feel sorry for my doggies, and let them have one of the blankets...hence much needed shopping spree. Hee!

Yeah, ever since I started this 3rd shift I haven't been able to do anything computer related. Just basically 2 hours of computer time a day, and that's mostly reading fics. *giggle* Can't forget about those can we?
