I woke up dead today...

Lastnight's fun, turned into a nightmare! After I got off the phone with angstchic, I got Kaitlin ready for bed. She had been saying she wasn't feeling very good, and she's got a touch of a cold, but nothing bad...well that's what I thought. She woke up about five minutes after she had fallen asleep with a stomach virus. We were up almost all night, and we are both exhausted. This morning she's been able to keep down one saltine and a little bit of Sprite for over an hour, so I'm hoping this is just a 24hr bug. I'm praying I don't get it too.

::goes off to find the industrial size can of Lysol::

So far so good, she's feeling a little better, just weak as a kitten. I'm a walking zombie, but it's all part of being a mommy. The not so fun part. Hee!

No, you didn't jinx us, this bug had been going around her school, so it was just a matter of time. I've been laying down and watching tv with her, and hopefully she will be able to eat something afterwhile. I'm definitely not doing any domestic goddess chore today...just a quick trip to the store, and then I'm couch bound. :)

Awww, Angie! Give Kaitlin hugs from Ashlyn and I. I was up A LOT with Ashlyn last night too. Not only is the bronchitis hanging on *her cough is still horrible* but her stomach was really messed up last night. It's really not easy convincing her to take Pepto Bismol when she hates the taste! LOL She seems to be feeling a bit better today as well.

I'll give her hugs! She's felt bad all day, but now she's playing a little, and running around the house, so she's almost back to normal. Thank God! I hope Ash starts feeling better soon, those coughs are horrible...I remember.
