Lastnight, [livejournal.com profile] angstchic, [livejournal.com profile] eyesthatslay, and I were able to work in a pre-show phone call, and it was a blast! I really enjoy, and look forward to, not only the new episode, but our chats as well. And hey, I got called a heifer lastnight, so I think I've been officially initiated. Bwhaha!

I liked the episode, and the story it told, because I've been wondering from the beginning why that mail guy was wearing a wrestling mask, and now I know. More thoughts behind the cut. I think it was a good stand alone episode, and we also got some little tidbits to further the storyline. I liked how Spike was asking Wes about the Shanshu prophecy, in a round about way, and Angel's little slip about the father kills the son. I think it made Wes curious, and maybe he will look into it. Spike was cute as ever, making his snarky comments to Angel, and changing the story to make it look like Angel hit the mailman first. Hee!
I'm ready to find out what happens next, and even though I'm spoiled, the episodes always play out much better than anything I've read.

Hey girl! it was a fun phone call wasn't it! Yes, if I call you heifer then you are officially "in". Hee, hee!

I enjoyed the ep too, it was funny and Spike and Wes are both just so darned pretty!

Who would have thought being called a heifer could be a good thing? Hee!

I agree Spike and Wes both looked particularly yummy lastnight! Plus I'm a sucker for an English accent, and I would be happy to watch them have a conversation about anything...I even told Mike lastnight that if he could master the accent, the fangs would've worked! I'm so bad! *chuckle*

Ooooo... I so read that seen differently. I know I'm living in my own fantasy world but Wes just seemed to have that "Of course I know... some of us signed a separate deal there, Tubby."

Stud even agreed with me, but that might have had something to do with the fact I was sorta of throttling him at the time to get my point across.

Maybe it's because I never really watched Angel until this season, so I'm seeing things a little different.

Lmao,on you throttling the stud to get your point across, that usually works well with mine too. Hee!

I also enjoyed the pre-ep chat, although having a pistachio spit-take is more strenous than one might think. I will have to be more careful from now on. Either that, or make sure I am aiming at [livejournal.com profile] eyesthatslay to make sure I get something out of it as well. :P

About the episode.... I got alot out of it, but it wasn't the story, it was all the little things going during the story. For the first time this season, I feel like I am seeing those "promises of things to come" that get me so excited to see where it all leads. I just love it when they play out like this one did.

The spitting of pistachio's was pretty darn funny, but what caused the spit-take still cracks me up! Hee!

I also agree with you about the "promises of things to come"...it's getting very exciting!
