Wednesday night fun...

Since we finally got a new AtS episode, Wednesday is once again my favorite night of the week. :) I got to work in a quick pre-show phone call with angstchic, and eyesthatslay, and it was so nice getting back to the routine. Those girls are just too fun to talk to on the phone, especially together. ;)



I like Harmony, she makes me laugh, and I enjoyed getting some background on her character. It was nice to see how she lives, and her daily routine. Also, I liked the point that she made about how she doesn't have a soul, so she has to try that much harder to make the right choices. Kudos to you Harm! There was definitely NOT enough Spike for my liking, and I really thought his excuse for not going to see Buffy was kinda lame. Come on writers...I know in my heart Spike would have high-tailed it to Europe to find Buffy, but it can't happen. So, PLEASE give him a better excuse for staying.

Oh, and since it's after midnight, and now officially January 15th...

Yeah, it just bothered me, mainly because that's not how my Spike would have acted. Oh well, at least I can still see him every Wednesday! :)

I watched the first 5 minutes of the ep. Loved Mercedes. I can only do Harm in small doses, but she desperately wanted to fit in, and those bitcas as W&H and Angel treated her poorly. That always raises my hackles. I cheated and read Herc's review of the ep, so I knew about Spike's decision to go to Buffy and that his reason for not going was lame. I'm going to have to go w/ sweet_ali's optimistic view of Spike's actions. It's the only thing that keeps me from hunting down Joss and James and telling them to boot Spike off AtS.

I agree with you! sweet_ali made some excellent points about why Spike changed his mind. It does make a lot of sense, but I guess I loved Spuffy so much, it seems so out of character for Spike no to want to find Buffy. Then again, he came back from Africa and hid out in the school basement for quite awhile before anyone knew where he was. I just need to watch the show, and not think about it too much. Hee!

Yup. This was really disappointing because I was so enjoying this episode until that scene. My internal rationalization was that Spike actually had a much better reason, but he didn't really want to tell it to Harmony. But still, they better do right by Spike's love for Buffy. Grrr...

Oh! Me too! I never thought Spike needed a soul to be redeemed, he was already there, if they would've given him half a chance.
