fun, friends, and shiny new objects

Usually I would be disappointed that the weekend was over but... ::in my singsong voice::

I DON'T HAVE TO WORK TOMORROW!! Squeeeeee!

I'm going shopping with my mom, and having lunch with Kaitlin at school, then I'm going to come home and finish up the housework that I didn't do today.

I had a very nice weekend...dravenscrow sent me the cutest Valentine's Day E-card, I talked on the phone with eyesthatslay two nights in a row, and then finally caught up with angstchic tonight. *hugs*

Earlier today we had brunch with my mother-in-law, and the food was scrumptious, and the desert was even better. Hee! I also bought myself a little present. It's a necklace that matches the earings and bracelet that my mother-in-law got me for Christmas. She bought them at the Golf Country Club that she belongs to, and that's where we had brunch. So, before we left I went to see if they had anything that matched, and there was one necklace left, just for me! Now tomorrow I can buy something to go with them, of course. ;)

Oh, and I changed my layout again...I went with green since the next holiday is St. Patricks Day. I'm finding holidays give me more reasons to change it often. :)

That about wraps up my weekend, and I should really go to bed now.

I was shocked Kaitlin had school today, she's usually out most of the holidays, but it was nice to spend the day with my mom.
