My baby is growing up too fast...

Today is Kaitlin's 9th birthday! I can't believe she is already 9yrs old...*sniff*...she amazes me always, and has brought sooo much joy to my life! I thank God for her everyday!

*hugs* to angstchic, eyesthatslay, just_kumi, sweet_ali, and sheribrat for the good luck wishes on the sleepover. I had 11 girls for the cake and presents, and then 8 for the sleepover. I was ready to pull all my hair out at about 1:00am, and at 5:30am I think I did. I had to make them all lay down and watch tv, and finally they fell asleep. Sunday after everyone left I slept from 1 to 5:30pm, and was still exhausted. I feel better today, but it will be a long, long time before I agree to another one. Hee!

After work my mom is coming over and we are going to take Kaitlin out to dinner, and there will be desert involved. ;)

Chocolate and Mountain Dew were my best friends for two days, and I feel like myself again! Kaitlin had a blast and has already said she wants to do it again next year...the trauma is still to fresh in my mind to agree.

My god, but you are a brave woman :) I took care of my 9 y.o. cuz for a day at the movies, lunch, and this kiddie indoor amusement place, and was thrilled to give them back to their parents after just a handful of hours. Now, i almost feel bad for all those sleepovers i had as a kid. Almost ;)

I don't know if I was brave or bug shaggin' crazy! *giggle* They wore me out, but Kaitlin said it was her best birthday ever, and that made it all worth the lack of sleep!

I only remember a couple of sleepovers when I was a kid, and I usually only had a few friends over...now I know why. My mom is one smart cookie. Hee!
