Weekend recap and Amusing husband antics...

I had a nice long weekend, but when I had to get up for work this morning I was wishing it had been much much longer. I could have slept all day, which is so stooopid...I had problems sleeping all weekend, and then today I was sleeping like a log. My body clock needs a new battery. ;)

Basically...
I cleaned house, convinced the hubby to do laundry, had a nice long phone chat with angstchic on Saturday night, watched the fireworks on Sunday, and had 2 nice long phone chats with eyesthatslay yesterday, along with her coloring my sexy smokin' Spike picture to give me more options other than poopy brown, had dinner at the in-laws, and researched laptops(cause I want one reeeeeally baaaaad!).



Mike made an appointment with the vet to have both of our boy!kittens neutered today, so I tell him we need to buy another cat carrier since we only have one and they both will not fit. He tells me he will just hold one of them in the car. Well, we all know that was NOT a very bright idea, right? Of course, he must find out these things the hard way, and that he did. While trying to carry Tabby outside, he freaked and scratched the pee-water out of hubby's side, (while I was trying to hold back the uncontrollable snorting that was dying to come out)he then grabs the box that our new toaster oven came in and cuts 2 holes in it and puts the poor kitty in the box and takes him to the vet... in a toaster oven box. Gaaah! He also asked the vet to save the box. *rolls eyes* I asked him how he would like to have his balls cut off and then get shoved into a box. He will now be purchasing a carrier before he picks them up. ;)

Here's hoping todays work day will go by very quickly for everyone!

Bwah! Why don't husbands ever listen? It must be a something in the male gene pool. I'm glad that Tabby at least gets to retain some of his dignity on the way home, instead of being paraded around in a toaster oven box. Lol!

I enjoyed our chats yesterday too sweetie! I'm glad that I was able to help you with your coloring issues. :D

And remember yesterday while we were talking he said...(and you are my witness)...that I was always right?. He forgot after what?...2hours. It was such a funny sight, and I will have many hours of teasing planned for him. Hee!

Thanks again for fixing my picture...I like it much better, and then next time I can try teal. :)
