Waaaaah!

I'm all about the big whine tonight due to the fact it's been piss pouring the rain all day here, and once again my poor laundry room got flooded with about 6 inches of water and this has happened twice in the last 2 weeks. We were even more prepared this time for the rain, but too much water...too fast, and there was no stopping it from coming in. In fact our road was flooded for most of the day, schools let out early but the buses couldn't even get to the school until around 2pm. < sarcasm > It's been a loverly day...can't you tell? < /sarcasm >
It's finally stopped raining, and it's not supposed to rain the rest of the weekend. I'm just thoroughly disgusted right now!

So, while the laundry room is drying, I'm taking the rest of the night off to read fic, and be a slug. I will deal with the rest of the cleanup tomorrow. Things are supposed to look better after a good nights sleep, right?

Now off to read just_kumi's Doomsday Clock, and check for any updates on the rest of the WIP's I'm reading. :)

The clean-up won't be too bad tomorrow...I hope! The floor is almost dry, so I just have to mop with bleach and get the laundry started. I'll definitely be up for a phone call tomorrow...I'll catch you on AIM when I'm ready!

I hope you are busy being extra sluggy. I wish I'd posted some fic for you read, but I'm stilllllll trying to finish my birthday fic series. Here's why: the first six parts were each 3-4 pages long. This last part is already 11 pages and I am a few pages from the end. ACK.

Anyway, my weekend is packed, so I'm trying to finish it now. I hope your basement is dry now and that the water stays OUT!
