It's been a busy couple of weeks! I've been canning tomatoes and today I started freezing corn. I was able to do 20 ears today, and I have about 30 more to go for this week and then I get to start all over again this weekend! This past Sunday, Dad, Kaitlin, and I picked 66 ears of corn, 35 tomatoes (that you have to hold with two hands), and a Walmart bag full of green beans! I am quite a bit worn out, but it will be so worth it when I can have fresh veggies all winter.

Kaitlin started school today...the 8th grade, I can hardly believe this is her last year in middle school. :( My baby is growing up way too fast. She's taller than me now!!

Anyhoo, that's a quick update on my week!

Yes, Kaitlin turned 13 in May! She's officially a teenager and has the mouth to prove it. :P
