Lastnight was great! Not only did I watch James and the Angel cast on E!News, and the new AtS episode, but I also got to talk to angstchic and eyesthatslay on the phone before the show!! It was a blast, and I haven't laughed that hard since...well since the other night on IM. :snort:

At first, I was disappointed that the opening did not show Buffy saying "I Love You" to Spike, but I do understand why. If they had shown that 3 second clip, the Spuffy's(like me) would claim victory, and the Bangels would go on a rampage. Just my opinion, but other than that I loved, loved, LOVED it! From the moment he went through Angel and was standing in the middle of the desk and said "Bugger", I knew it was going to be great. The banter between Spike and Angel had me LMAO, and I was so glad to see snarky, smirking, full of himself Spike back on the screen. I really missed that the last 2 seasons of BtVS. If this continues each week, we are in for one hell of a season.

My favorite parts:

The gangs questioning looks toward Angel as they find out about Spike and Buffy, and Spike's soul, Wes seemed very intrigued.

Spike to Fred... you think I'm Hot... no luke warm. LOL!

Spike already in the car he knew Angel would pick...saying I KNEW IT!

Telling Angel haunting him forever is starting to sound appealing...he'll drive him out of his gourd.

I'm his date, and the disgusted look on Angel's face was priceless!

You already told all of the best parts, but the end had me almost in tears, when Spike was asking Fred to help him because he was terrified of what was happening to him. *sad face*

I thought the ending was sad too, especially when he said he was terrified. Poor Spikey:( He's been through so much, and I hope it gets better for him soon!

I tried to download it last week, but none of them worked, and I'm not sure of any other sites.

I'm still holding on to the fact they want to keep the relationship between Spike and Buffy ambiguous so that when she shows up they can do the love triangle *yawn*. So if she tells Spike she loves him then what does Captain Forehead get? (besides a good swift kick in the pants)

Nope, you are not alone! Seeing him in all his snarky glory, had me almost jumping up and down. I have really missed that about him! I still want Spike and Buffy together too, and I think you're right, we will be in for a love triangle sometime. :blech: I just hope they don't kick Spike to the curb this time. Maybe Buffy will tell them she's still baking. LOL!

Hey girl! I had a blast last nite talking with you too! It was fun to realize that we all have pretty much the same accent. LOL!

I was so glad too when I got to see lots of Spike, and the snarky-ness was fun. The only thing that I didn' t like is the fear that Angel & Co. won't trust him, and Spike will be back into the role of trying to earn respect, etc. I just think he has more than proved himself, and I don't want the character to have to go through all of that with a new set of people. I would like to see him working with the team, and being part of whatever is happening. No more outsider for our Spike!

I understand what you mean about not wanting Spike to be an outsider again, because I don't either. The part the made me more comfortable with that, was when Wes,Fred, Gunn, and Lorne were all looking questionalbly at Angel, when they found out about Spike and Buffy, and Spike's soul.

And...talking to y'all(using my own accent, hee!) was a blast!! We will have to do that again soon!
