yawn...stretch...yawn
Jan. 29th, 2004 11:01 amI'm so sleepy today! It took every ounce of my willpower to get up and go to work. I've decided that me and below 40 degree temps are unmixy things. I don't remember ever feeling this unmotivated, and having no energy. I hope winter passes very quickly.
I had a great time lastnight talking to
angstchic and
eyesthatslay on the phone, for our weekly pre-show chat! It's so nice to have something to look forward to each week and good friends that make it twice as fun! I lurve you girls! *hugs*
Damage...now that was definitely a perfect title for the episode. I was partially spoiled...so I knew it was a slayer, but OMG she was scary! I also knew about Spike's hands, and I'm really glad I did. I think I would have lost it if I wasn't pre-warned, because I was still shocked and upset that Spike was once again being tortured. I'm just sick to death of it! I saw enough of that on BtVS. *grrrr* So...
-Evil psycho slayer, SCARY!
-Andrew cracks me the hell up!
-Liked hearing about what the Scoobies are doing
-I think it's odd, that they would just turn the psycho slayer over to Andrew and the girls, after she killed all those people, I mean HELLO...I don't think she is just gonna play nice and be a good little slayer now.
-Loved, Loved, Loved the talk between Spike and Angel at the end...
"She's a monster now"
"She's an innocent victim"
"So were we...once upon a time"
God I loved that! I had tears...it was just so perfect! I would love for Angel to realize that he can't change the past, and that he was a victim too...Spike has the right attitude, but of course I love Spike, and he can do no wrong in my eyes. Well, except being hard headed and going into darkenend basements with crazy, evil, psycho slayer bitches. :)

Oh well...I'm lovin' it!

Date: 2004-01-29 11:00 pm (UTC)I loved this episode, and (seeing as I'm unspoiled) I honestly thought at first that Spike was hallucinating his hands being cut off. When I realized they really were, I was all ACK!
The slayer was scary, but in a really weird way I was so glad to see one on Angel. I am so enjoying the way they are bringing the BtVS story into this season.
OMG! I freaking loved Andrew! His emotional LotR nerd moment when he first saw Spike was priceless! Hee!
